What it is
A CT scan of the heart's arteries with contrast, plus a calcium score. It shows narrowings directly and is very good at ruling coronary disease out.
What to expect
At our imaging partner two streets away. A small cannula in the arm, a tablet to slow the heart, and twenty minutes on the scanner.
Results
Reported by the imaging team within a week and reviewed with you by Dr Verrin.
